"Chronic Dreams" is the new album by producer Victor Stone. Mixing tracks from earlier recording sessions, samples from the Magnatune catalogue and newly recorded material by Victor and several other Magnatune recording artists, he has created an album of music that has been called 'groove soaked ambient chill.'
Combining his training in classical and jazz with a passion for North American and British popular music Victor creates a mood reminiscent of modern producers such as DJ Food and DJ Krush. As with those producers, his approach is 'source agnostic' culling sounds wherever they may come from, recording new material as needed to fit the ambience of the project.
Four Stones' previous album on Magnatune was the Magnatune Remixed project.
